Culinary guru, Lannice Snyman, is one of South Africa's most experienced and well-respected food personalities. She's an author and publisher, consultant, stylist, freelance journalist, hotel and restaurant critic and internationally-accredited barbecue judge. Lannice was also the Founder of Relais & Chateaux luxury property group in South Africa, and of Lannice Snyman Publishing Company that produces mainstream cookbooks as well as contract publishing for the commercial market, including hotels and restaurants.

Lannice Snyman is one of the most highly regarded, versatile and prolific of the contemporary South African, French, Italian and UK writers. She is the author of 14 internationally awarded books, of which some 400,000 copies have been sold, and an award-winning, internationally published journalist, and one of the high-profile judges in the Diners Club Winelist of the Year Awards.

Max Friedli is a Swiss-born hotel veteran with worldwide expertise in communication, training and events organization. After studying at the University of Zurich, Friedli completed an MA in English Literature in the USA. He headed the Massachusetts Arts Lottery Council and the Public Action for Arts and Education non-profit organizations, followed by a notable career with Swissotel North America and Park Plaza International in Europe, then took a Professorship at the Schilling International University in Switzerland.

Friedli currently serves as President of the Friendship Foundation for Youth and Education with a focus on Asian hospitality and tourism development, and Executive and lecturer at the Durgapur Society of Science Management in India. Max Friedli will represent the Asia/Pacific region on the Boutique Hotels & Resorts International® Advisory Board.
